Belgravia Foundation

Belgravia Foundation is a registered charity created in 2017 to reduce barriers to participation in sport, aquatic, fitness, recreation and health programs, with a focus of its work in the catchment areas where the Belgravia Group operates across Australia.

Our Vision

Everyone deserves the opportunity to participate.

A future where everyone has the opportunity to participate, belong and thrive.  By increasing participation, improving accessibility and demonstrating impact, we are helping to create healthier people, stronger communities and brighter futures for all.

What we do

Increase participation

We create opportunities for more people to participate in sport, aquatics, recreation, leisure and community activities. Through grants, partnerships, programs and fundraising initiatives, we support individuals and communities who may otherwise miss out.

Improve accessibility

We work to reduce the physical, financial, social and cultural barriers that prevent participation. We advocate for inclusive environments, support accessible programs and collaborate with communities to ensure everybody feels welcome and able to participate.

Demonstrate impact

We measure and communicate the difference participation makes. By collecting evidence and sharing stories of change, we demonstrate how participation improves health, wellbeing, resilience, social connection and community outcomes.

Access resources

Everyone deserves the opportunity to participate.

We provide access to practical learning and development resources designed to build capability, strengthen workplace culture and improve the wellbeing of the people and communities we serve.

CultureWise

CultureWise is a self‑paced online training program designed to foster Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural awareness and safety within the aquatics and leisure industry. It supports the development of individual and organisational cultural capability through an easy‑to‑use online learning platform.

The training program includes interactive learning activities, case studies, reflection prompts and knowledge checks. It is accessible online and designed to support staff with varying levels of digital literacy and cultural knowledge.

Who we support

Our focus is on people and communities facing barriers to participation. This includes children and young people, people with disability, culturally diverse communities, First Nations peoples, individuals experiencing financial hardship, and those at risk of social isolation.

We recognise that every community is different, and we work with local partners to develop solutions that respond to local needs while contributing to broader national outcomes.

How we work

The Belgravia Foundation brings together communities, governments, businesses, philanthropic organisations and the broader Belgravia Group to create meaningful and sustainable change.

Through partnerships, grants, fundraising, community initiatives and evidence-based program design, we invest in opportunities that help people become more active, connected and engaged in their communities. Our national network enables us to deliver both local impact and scalable solutions that can benefit communities across Australia.
